Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a Delivery Senior Consultant in Salesforce to design, develop, and deliver end-to-end Salesforce solutions. You will work on configuration, customization, and integration, taking ownership of projects within an Agile delivery team.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Salesforce development experience, strong integration skills, and a proven ability to lead teams. The role requires hybrid work with travel to US Delivery Center locations, including Mechanicsburg.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years IT experience with 6+ years Salesforce development experience.
• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Experience Cloud, and knowledge modules.
• Ability to migrate to Lightning experience, converting Visualforce pages to Lightning components and using Lightning Design Systems
• Experience with UI technologies: JavaScript, Lighting Design System, and Lightning Web Components
• Experience with Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes, and deployment tools like GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, ANT, Change Sets, and Force.com IDE
• Strong integration experience: REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO; code reviews and leading teams or projects
• Hybrid work model: commute to US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, Mechanicsburg, etc.) and co-location up to 30%

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using configuration and customization (APEX, Triggers, Visualforce, Lightning components).
• Perform code reviews, unit/integration testing, and support UAT to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Lead Salesforce projects and contribute to architecture, ensuring best practices and reusability.

Work You'll Do

As a Delivery Senior Consultant, Configuration and Integration Solutions on the team, you will:

• Develop end-to-end Salesforce solutions using Configuration and Customization - APEX Class, Triggers, Visualforce pages, Lightning components etc

• Perform independent code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality deliverables

• Initiate, lead, and deliver Salesforce projects, including maintaining a role in developing and designing architecture

• Possess the ability to effectively debug and resolve issues and/or defects that may be reported because of faults in the production system

• Participate in an Agile environment; daily scrum meetings, analyze assigned user stories, and identify and resolve gaps in functional user stories and business requirements

• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers to maintain high-quality coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree

• 7+ years of total IT experience with at least 6+ years of Salesforce project development experience

• Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience (at least 1 or more of the following five Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Salesforce Experience Cloud, and knowledge)

• Ability to migrate Salesforce classic features to Lightning experience, including converting Visualforce pages to lightning components and / or using Lightning Design Systems

• Experience in UI technologies like JavaScript, Lightning Design System, and Lightning Web Components

• Experience using Salesforce configuration and customizations using Apex, Visualforce, Triggers, Scheduled and Batch classes etc

• Knowledge of the Product Development Lifecycle, DevOps, and Deployment tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, ANT, Change Sets and Force.com IDE

• Proven integration experience using integration techniques - REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth and Single Sign-On

• Experience with code reviews, leading teams, or projects

• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

• Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements:

• Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg or Geo-Hub locations (Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Houston, and Philadelphia)

• Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location

• Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes

• Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance

Preferred:

• Certifications in the following areas - Certified Platform Developer I, Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, OmniStudio, AgentForce Specialist

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs related to Salesforce applications and integrations

• Project Experience with ETL tools like MuleSoft or Informatica Cloud

• Experience implementing advanced Salesforce security models in complex, multi-role organizations

• Experience building secure public-facing Experience Cloud portals

• Experience designing scalable, high-volume, or asynchronous integration architecture

• Experience in Government and Public Sector
