You will build and deliver scalable Marketing Cloud solutions from the ground up, acting as a technical SME for initiatives and mentoring junior developers. Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our IT Application Development team.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience building Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions from the ground up and will serve as a technical SME for Marketing Cloud initiatives.

Design, develop, and deploy customer journeys using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder

Handle end-to-end delivery including requirements, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support

Develop personalized content using AMPscript, SSJS, HTML/CSS, and Dynamic Data Extensions

Configure Marketing Cloud environments, user roles, security, subscriber models, and data governance

Manage Preference Centers, Subscription Management, CAN-SPAM, and GDPR compliance

Configure surveys and survey journeys using Salesforce Surveys, FormAssembly, or external platforms

Integrate survey responses and configure trigger-based follow-up actions

Partner with business stakeholders to translate marketing requirements into scalable technical solutions

Create and maintain technical documentation for journeys, integrations, and automation processes

Mentor junior Salesforce developers and promote development best practices

Stay current with Salesforce Marketing Cloud releases and new capabilities

5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud development experience

Strong experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Email Studio, and Mobile Studio

Strong proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS, HTML, and CSS

Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud data architecture, including:

• Data Extensions (DEs)
• Send Logs
• Data Views
• Contact Builder
• Experience working with high-volume production campaigns
• Strong knowledge of REST & SOAP APIs
• Experience with Marketing Cloud Connect and/or Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360)
• Knowledge of data-driven marketing, personalization, and segmentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer Certification

Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360) including unified profiles, identity resolution, segmentation, and real-time activation

Experience with Salesforce CRM and other MarTech ecosystem tools

Working knowledge of multi-cloud architecture and enterprise integrations
