Job summary

Vantage Point Consulting Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Business Analyst or Functional Lead to bridge client needs with Salesforce solutions. You will lead discovery, gather requirements, and frame work for other BAs while serving as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders.

You will configure Salesforce directly when appropriate, lead or support UAT, and collaborate with delivery leads to scope changes. Strong process thinking, hands-on Salesforce configuration, and excellent communication

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce business analysis or functional consulting experience.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration within the org.
• Strong ability to map business workflows to Salesforce solutions.
• Experience in staffing, recruiting, or HR tech is a plus.
• Proven client-facing skills with stakeholder management.
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional Cloud certs are a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Asana or Jira.
• Excellent written communication in user stories and specs.
• Collaborative mindset to improve client outcomes.
• Familiarity with ATS systems (Bullhorn, Assist, Target Recruit) and VMS/tools.

Job description

• We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst or Functional Lead to bridge the gap between client business needs and Salesforce solutions.
• Client helps companies in the Staffing and Workforce Management industry modernize their business processes and technology, and in this role, you will help drive end-to-end business process modernization by translating how a client operates into solutions that improve the way their business works.
• You will lead discovery and requirements gathering, framework for other Business Analysts, configure solutions directly when appropriate, and serve as a trusted functional advisor to client stakeholders.
• You will also leverage AI as part of our delivery methodology to increase pace, quality, and client outcomes while ensuring solutions align to the client's broader business objectives.
• The ideal candidate brings a sharp process mindset, hands-on Salesforce configuration skills, and the presence to lead a client workshop with confidence while ensuring the broader delivery team has everything, they need to build the right solution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions with client stakeholders, asking the right questions, and knowing when to push deeper
• Document business processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications that development teams can build from
• Frame and scope work for other Business Analysts on the team, providing guidance, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring consistency
• Serve as the functional bridge between clients and technical teams: translate business intent into buildable requirements and translate technical constraints back into business terms
• Configure Salesforce solutions directly when appropriate: Flows, validation rules, page layouts, record types, permission sets, and related declarative tools
• Lead or support UAT, including writing test scripts, coordinating testers, and managing defect triage
• Partner with Delivery/Project Leads to scope change orders and estimate functional work accurately
• Build strong, trusted relationships with client-side business owners, power users, and operational stakeholders
• Contribute to internal delivery practices: templates, documentation standards, and onboarding resources for newer Client

What do we need:

• 4+ years of Salesforce business analysis or functional consulting experience, with clear examples of leading requirements on complex projects
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration skills: you are comfortable building in the org, not just writing specs for someone else to implement
• Strong process thinking map a business workflow, spot the gaps, and design a Salesforce solution that fits how people work
• Experience in the staffing, recruiting, or HR tech industry is a significant advantage
• Track record of working directly with clients and managing stakeholder relationships across levels (ops users through C-suite)
• Ability to command a requirements workshop with confidence and keep a session productive
• Salesforce Administrator certification required; Business Analyst or additional Cloud certifications are a strong plus
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools like Asana or Jira
• Excellent written communication. Your user stories and specs are clear, consistent, and useful
