Job summary

Saltbox Mgmt Inc. is seeking a Salesforce B2B Commerce Technical Architect to lead complex Salesforce engagements, owning architecture, delivery, and hands-on implementation.

You will guide cross-functional teams, align solutions with client goals, and ensure scalable, secure designs. This remote-first role leverages Saltbox’s AI platform S1 to accelerate delivery, foster innovation, and drive customer success across B2B Commerce, Revenue Cloud, and Experience Cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience as a consultant within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• 2+ years architecting Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations.
• Extensive experience with Salesforce products, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and/or Revenue Cloud.
• Experience managing developers while leading Agile project delivery.
• Salesforce Platform Developer II, Advanced Developer certification, or equivalent technical expertise.
• Strong Salesforce development and configuration experience, including Apex, Lightning, APIs, integrations, and declarative configuration.
• Strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working on cross-functional project teams in consulting or client-facing delivery environments.
• Ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical business users.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical architecture for Salesforce engagements, ensuring solutions align with business requirements and support Customer Success.
• Lead a team of Salesforce Developers (entry-level and experienced), providing technical guidance, mentorship, and day-to-day support.
• Champion Curiosity & Innovation by leveraging S1, Saltbox’s proprietary multi-agent operating system, and AI-enabled delivery methodologies to improve solution quality and delivery timelines.
• Partner with Project Managers, clients, and stakeholders to scope work, estimate delivery timelines, and define project deliverables.
• Lead technical design sessions, document architecture decisions, and identify gaps between current and future-state solutions.
• Design and implement Salesforce data structures, flows, Apex classes, Lightning components, integrations, and platform configurations.
• Manage source control, CI/CD processes, Git workflows, code reviews, releases, environments, and deployments.

Saltbox Mgmt is hiring a Salesforce B2B Commerce Technical Architect who will serve as a highly billable technical leader across client engagements, owning technical architecture & delivery, and hands-on implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. This role combines deep Salesforce expertise, client-facing consulting, and technical leadership while partnering with developers and project teams to deliver exceptional business outcomes.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 5+ years of technical experience as a consultant within the Salesforce ecosystem.
• 2+ years of experience as architecting Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations,
• Extensive experience with Salesforce products, including one or more of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and/or Revenue Cloud.

• Experience with unit, integration, end-to-end testing, and performance tuning.
• Experience creating clear solution diagrams and technical architecture documentation.
• Knowledge of platform security, authentication patterns, data sharing, visibility, and large data volume best practices.
