Job summary

Stealth Entry Cybersecurity Solutions seeks an experienced Salesforce Architect for the State of Ohio project. You will own all SFDC config, customizations, and integrations, working closely with business teams and leadership to deliver scalable Salesforce solutions.

Responsibilities include end-to-end project lifecycle, designing efficient reports, and building Experience Cloud sites while ensuring security and performance as data grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience with consulting preferred.
• Proven Salesforce architect or senior developer.
• Hands-on with Lightning Aura Components, Apex, and Force.com APIs.
• Experience with declarative tools: workflows, Process Builder, and Flows.
• Experience building Salesforce integrations with ETL tools, web services, or MuleSoft.
• Release management and sandbox-to-production deployments.
• Strong requirements gathering, problem solving, and stakeholder communication.

About the Role

Stealth Entry is hiring an experienced IT Consultant 2 for our client, the State of Ohio, to serve as Salesforce Architect for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of an extension. You will own all aspects of the agency’s Salesforce.com (SFDC) environment, including configuration, customization, application implementation, and third-party integrations. You will work closely with business teams and leadership to build Salesforce solutions that support their processes and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Work with business teams to understand their processes and translate their needs into Salesforce requirements for configuration and development.
• Support the full project lifecycle, from kickoff and requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and post-production support.
• Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality business solutions on the Force.com platform.
• Maintain and enhance existing Salesforce solutions, and proactively identify needed system changes.
• Build and maintain workflows, Process Builder flows, Visual Flows, and other configurations.
• Develop and manage Experience Cloud (Community) sites.
• Design Salesforce forms for offline use with Survey123 or another native Salesforce utility.
• Design and build advanced reports and dashboards, including macro-driven reports for senior management, following reporting best practices that protect performance as data volumes grow.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and internal and external applications using ETL tools, web services, MuleSoft, and similar tools.
• Monitor exception logs for backend integrations, and troubleshoot and resolve system and partner integration issues.
• Import data with Data Loader and other Salesforce tools, and assist with migrating legacy systems and processes into Salesforce.
• Manage releases and deploy changes through sandboxes to production using Salesforce best practices.
• Unit test deliverables, develop test plans and user test cases, lead user acceptance testing, and validate results against requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation, including process and configuration documents, user guides, training materials, and change orders.
• Communicate system changes to users before implementation so they know what is changing and how to use it.
• Mentor and train State development staff.
• Advise leadership and stakeholders on Salesforce and other technologies, including options, risks, and costs versus benefits, to improve operational efficiency and the customer experience.
• Support recurring IT security audits of the system.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT experience, with consulting experience preferred
• Proven experience as a Salesforce architect or senior developer
• Hands‑on experience with Lightning Aura Components, Apex programming, and Force.com APIs
• Experience with Salesforce declarative tools, including workflows, Process Builder, and Flows
• Experience building Salesforce integrations with ETL tools, web services, or MuleSoft
• Experience with Salesforce release management and sandbox-to-production deployments
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, problem solving, and stakeholder communication

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field
• Experience with Experience Cloud (Community) sites
• Experience with Survey123 or offline Salesforce forms
• Experience in an IT department or consulting firm with broad exposure across technology areas
• State or public sector experience
• Salesforce certifications (such as Application Architect, Platform Developer I/II, or Administrator)
