Together, we can drive meaningful change, spark innovation, and achieve extraordinary milestones.

Kentro is hiring an experienced Salesforce Architect to lead the technical strategy, design, and delivery of a secure, cloud-native enterprise system leveraging Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (PSS). This role will architect scalable, resilient, and offline-capable applications that support complex data workflows and integrations with platforms such as MuleSoft and Tableau. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in secure government cloud environments and a track record of leading delivery for DHS or similar civilian agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement Salesforce architecture across Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, and core platform layers.
  • Design and oversee secure, scalable solutions that support disconnected/offline use cases using tools like Pulsar.
  • Set platform standards for data modeling, access control, automation, and integration points.
  • Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, MuleSoft engineers, and business leads to ensure successful sprint-based delivery.
  • Provide technical leadership across solution governance, DevSecOps enablement, and multi-org coordination.

Location: This position can be performed remotely within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.

  • 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience, with at least 3+ years in an architecture leadership role.
  • Mastery of Salesforce metadata architecture, declarative tools, Apex, LWC, and system integration practices.
  • Experience supporting digital modernization programs in DHS (e.g., TSA, CBP, USCIS, ICE) or other federal civilian environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Certifications Required:

  • Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect (at least one required)
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Salesforce Associate (or Trailhead credential equivalent)

Preferred:

  • Experience integrating Salesforce with MuleSoft APIs and event-driven architectures.
  • Hands-on design or implementation of Pulsar or comparable offline-access tooling.
  • Familiarity with Tableau governance, dashboard structure, or embedded analytics in Salesforce.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide low-code implementations in IL4/FedRAMP environments.

Clearance:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
