Job summary

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 4+ years developing on the Salesforce platform in Apex.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Application Architect certification(s).
• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and release management best practices.
• Fluent use of AI coding assistants across the development lifecycle with good judgment on usage.
• Experience with writing maintainable code and some Ruby on Rails experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Apex solutions on the Salesforce platform that support our Sales and CX teams.
• Use AI coding assistants throughout the development lifecycle to write, review, debug, and document code.
• Oversee ongoing improvements to deployed features and measure their impact.
• Apply Salesforce platform architecture and change/release management best practices, using sf cli for deployments.
• Write well-structured, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Build, test, and debug reliable production systems at scale, ideally real-time or high-throughput.
• Contribute to codebases beyond Salesforce when the work calls for it.
