Job summary

Gusto is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable Apex solutions on the Salesforce platform in support of Sales and CX teams. You will leverage AI coding assistants to write, review, debug, and document code, while overseeing ongoing improvements to deployed features at scale.

The role requires 6+ years of software engineering experience, 4+ years on Salesforce Apex, and Salesforce certifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 4+ years on Salesforce Apex development.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I and/or Application Architect certifications.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, with experience using sf CLI and change/release management best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable Apex solutions on the Salesforce platform for Sales and CX teams.
• Use AI coding assistants throughout the development lifecycle to write, review, debug, and document code.
• Oversee improvements to deployed features and measure impact.
