Job summary

Children’s National Hospital is seeking a Salesforce System Analyst/Developer to drive the analysis, design, development, and optimization of Salesforce-based CRM solutions within a collaborative Digital Health Solutions team.

You will bridge clinical, operational, and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable applications supporting patient engagement, access, intake, and care coordination.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Strong in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, SOQL/SOSL and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience with API security certification, authentication, OAuth 2.0, OpenID, JSON, Web Token authorization, IP security setup, and endpoint configuration.
• Strong Data Weave skills for transformation and expression development across JSON, XML, CSV, and related formats.
• Familiarity with GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of the Salesforce platform to participate in solution architecture discussions and recommend best practices.
• Configure and extend Salesforce Health Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud capabilities.
• Build and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flows.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Support APIs between Salesforce and enterprise systems such as Epic, Cerner, Microsoft and other healthcare applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize application performance.
• Create technical documentation, deployment plans, and support release management activities.
• Ensure solutions comply with HIPAA, security, and organizational governance standards.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support system upgrades, deployments, and production maintenance.
