Job Summary

The Salesforce and Integration Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, optimization, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Salesforce platform. Working in conjunction with the Director of Technology and the Evaluation and Impact team, this role ensures Salesforce effectively supports program delivery, participant services, reporting, and organizational decision‑making.

The position manages Salesforce user access and security, business process automation, data integrity, and integration between Salesforce and other enterprise systems. A key function of this role is ensuring that JVS’s data infrastructure supports the organization’s Evidence‑Building Roadmap (EBR) including data system refinement, real‑time reporting, and data quality protocols that enable rigorous internal evaluation and, ultimately, external evaluation readiness.

This role collaborates closely with program, evaluation and impact, operations, finance, and technology teams to enhance system functionality, improve operational efficiency, and support organizational technology initiatives.

This role reports to the Director of Technology, with a dotted‑line reporting relationship to the Director of Evaluation and Impact.

Responsibilities: Salesforce Administration, Security & Governance
  • Serve as the primary Salesforce administrator, managing system configuration, customization, maintenance, security, and ongoing optimization.
  • Create and maintain Salesforce components including custom objects, fields, record types, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchies.
  • Manage user provisioning, access controls, security settings, and periodic access reviews.
  • Monitor platform performance, user adoption, and system health while maintaining documentation, governance standards, and best practices.
  • Work closely with the Director of Technology to support platform enhancements and technology initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Director of Evaluation and Impact and the Manager of Data Systems and Analytics to ensure Salesforce configuration and data architecture align with program reporting needs and evaluation frameworks.
Integration & Automation
  • Lead and support integration between Salesforce and third‑party applications, including participant portals, LMS platforms, financial systems, and other enterprise applications.
  • Support API‑based integrations, data synchronization, and data exchange processes while maintaining integration documentation.
  • Design and maintain Salesforce Flows and automation solutions that improve efficiency, streamline business processes, and support AI and workflow optimization initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and vendors to implement, troubleshoot, and enhance integrations and automation solutions.
Data Management, Reporting & Analytics
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, quality, and security of Salesforce data, serving as the primary owner of data quality standards and validation protocols.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that support program management, operational decision‑making, and funder reporting.
  • Support data migration, data validation, data cleansing, and reporting initiatives, including preparation of analysis‑ready datasets for use by the Evaluation & Impact team and external research partners.
  • Support the development and execution of data quality and quality assurance protocols—including automated validation, data audits, and error reporting—to meet program and evaluation needs.
  • Contribute to the codification and finalization of real‑time data reporting infrastructure, including dashboards that provide program staff with actionable, up‑to‑date outcome data.
  • Respond to data and reporting requests from program, development, finance, and leadership teams with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Make recommendations to improve data collection practices, reporting processes, and data integrity across the organization.
User Support, Training & Vendor Coordination
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Salesforce‑related support requests, troubleshooting, and user assistance.
  • Develop training materials, conduct user training, and promote Salesforce best practices and adoption.
  • Work with consultants, software vendors, and implementation partners on system enhancements, upgrades, and projects.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and support technology initiatives that improve organizational efficiency and service delivery.

  • Experience with data migration, data quality management, and system implementation projects.
