Salesforce and Business Systems Engineer (Remote - USA)

Position Overview
We’re seeking a tech-savvy problem solver to maintain and improve our technology infrastructure. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure our systems support operational and strategic goals. Responsibilities include system maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation, process reviews, and identifying improvement opportunities. The role is ideal for someone interested in leveraging AI and modern tech to innovate in a finance environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura.
  • Administer and configure Salesforce environments, including user roles, security, SSO/MFA, sandboxes, patching, and integrations via REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and ensure application stability and performance.
  • Analyze requirements to assess feasibility and suggest scalable solutions.
  • Build and manage ELT/ETL pipelines using tools like Integrate.io, Fivetran, and Airflow.
  • Design data models and write SQL for cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.).
  • Develop data infrastructure for reporting and analytics.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Manage user access and security for SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Oversee vendor relationships and evaluate new systems and tools.
  • Lead efforts to integrate AI and emerging technologies to enhance processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of Salesforce Developer experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related.
  • Experience managing SaaS applications like Google Workspace, Slack, SFDC.
  • Skills in designing and maintaining ELT/ETL pipelines and cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS for front-end customizations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in IT administration, including IAM and networking.
  • Understanding of information security principles.
  • Active Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer).
