Senior Salesforce Administrator / Developer
We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Administrator / Developer for our client located in the Everett, Massachusetts area. The person hired for this position will support critical enterprise initiatives by designing, enhancing, and maintaining scalable Salesforce solutions that align with business objectives and long-term application needs. This is a hybrid position in the Everett, MA, area. Candidates must be able to reliably commute to this location. Please note: No C2C, Subcontracting or Visa Sponsorship of any kind is available for this position. The ideal candidate is a strategic Salesforce professional who looks beyond individual requirements to understand the underlying business need. This person will translate business objectives into scalable, maintainable Salesforce solutions, with a focus on leveraging configuration and standard platform capabilities whenever possible. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to evaluate enhancement requests, improve existing solutions, and support the overall Salesforce application architecture.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary System Administrator for Salesforce environments.
- Manage Salesforce administrative functions, including user account maintenance, security and access, reports, dashboards, workflows, and other routine system administration activities.
- Respond to end-user issues, enhancement requests, and other Salesforce support needs.
- Evaluate, scope, prioritize, and coordinate new development and enhancement requests.
- Work independently with business users and stakeholders to gather, define, and document business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
- Facilitate backlog grooming and prioritization sessions.
- Act as a liaison between business users and application development teams.
- Manage and support integrations between Salesforce and connected applications.
- Review and assess vendor-delivered solutions and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Constructively challenge assumptions and recommend solutions that improve usability, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
- Perform regular system audits and support planning and preparation for Salesforce upgrades and releases.
- Help establish and maintain best practices for Salesforce administration, configuration, development, and application governance.
Qualifications
- Significant experience as a Salesforce Administrator, Developer, or similar Salesforce technical professional.
- Must have 4+ years of Omni Studio Experience
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration and administration, including users, profiles, permissions, reports, dashboards, workflows, and automation.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into Salesforce solutions.
- Ability to evaluate when to use configuration versus custom development.
- Experience supporting Salesforce integrations and working with connected applications.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce application architecture, scalability, and maintainability.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, end users, vendors, and technical development teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Salesforce certifications are strongly preferred.
Pay: $70 - $79.70 / hour #INDIT
