The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise with Vertex, SureTax, and ERP systems, plus advanced Excel skills to analyze data and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 10+ years of sales and use tax experience with multi-state expertise.
• Proficient in Vertex, CCH SureTax and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a tax team, overseeing workflow and development.
• Supervise preparation and filing of multi-state sales and use tax returns.
• Monitor tax law changes and advise on implications for business transactions.
• Manage internal audits and respond to tax authority inquiries.
• Support special tax projects as needed.
