Job summary

AstenJohnson is seeking a hands-on PMC Sales & Service Representative to support customers in the Chattanooga, TN or North Alabama region. You will build relationships, manage accounts, and coordinate resources to ensure equipment performance and service excellence.

You’ll travel frequently to customer sites, contribute to fabric life data analyses, and maintain detailed service plans while staying safety-certified at mills. This role rewards independence and customer focus.

Qualifications

• Experience in the paper industry and with paper machines.
• Willingness to travel 60%+ to customer sites.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Strong time management, independence, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships through goal-oriented sales and service calls.
• Manage assigned accounts, including inventory, AR, and resource coordination.
• Support machine crews with installation and removal of paper machine clothing.
• Collect and analyze fabric life and performance data.
• Maintain detailed machine drawings, technical documentation, and service plans.
• Stay safety-certified at customer mill sites.
• Submit call and expense reports.
