Position Summary

The Sales Training Manager designs, develops, and delivers comprehensive learning programs that strengthen the knowledge, skills, productivity, and performance of sales professionals supporting hospital, inpatient, outpatient, and other healthcare settings. This role leads new-hire onboarding, product and clinical education, salesmethodology, coaching, certification, and launch-readiness initiatives while partnering cross-functionally to ensure training aligns with commercial priorities, customer needs, and organizational goals.

Essential Functions
  • Develop and execute a scalable sales training strategy aligned with commercialobjectives, product priorities, and customer needs.
  • Design andfacilitatenew-hire onboarding and continuing education programs for sales professionals supporting hospital, inpatient, outpatient, and wound care environments.
  • Create andmaintainproduct, clinical, salesmethodology, competitive, market, organizational, and compliance-related training content in partnership with subject matter experts.
  • Lead training initiatives for product launches, sales campaigns, new tools, process changes, and strategic commercial programs.
  • Build role-based learning paths, assessments, certifications, reinforcement activities, coaching tools, and manager resources that support consistent field execution.
  • Facilitateengaging instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning experiences using adult learning principles and practical application.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Product Management, Operations, Human Resources, and other stakeholders toidentifycapability gaps and prioritize training needs.
  • Collaborate with sales leaders and frontline managers to strengthen coaching effectiveness reinforce training and support ongoing performance development.
  • LeverageCRM, learning management, and sales enablement platforms to support training delivery, adoption, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Establishand monitor training metrics, including new-hire ramp time, certification completion, sales productivity, CRM adoption, product launch readiness, coaching effectiveness, learner feedback, and business impact.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to evaluate program effectiveness and recommend improvements to content, delivery, reinforcement, and learning strategy.
  • Maintainaccuratetraining records, program documentation, curricula, and learning resourcesin accordance withCompany requirements.
  • Manage multiple training projects, timelines, vendors, budgets, and stakeholder expectations witha high levelof organization and accountability.

Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
  • 5-10 years of demonstrated success in medical device and/ or wound care sales
  • 2+ years of experience in sales training, sales enablement, learning and development, field coaching, or sales leadership.
  • Demonstrated understanding of hospital, operating room, inpatient, and outpatient care environments.
  • Experience developing and delivering training programs for geographically dispersed or field-based sales teams.
  • Experience using CRM, learning management, or sales enablement platforms.
Certifications:

No certification isrequired. Relevant sales training, instructional design, coaching, or healthcare industry certifications are preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Deep knowledge of consultative selling, sales process, coaching, adult learning, and behavior-change principles.
  • Ability to translate complex product, clinical, and technical information into clear, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, written communication, and executive presence skills.
  • Ability to build credibility with sales professionals, leaders, clinicians, and cross-functional partners.
  • Knowledge of hospital workflows, operating room environments, inpatient and outpatient services; wound care center experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of CRM, learning management, virtual facilitation, and sales enablement technologies.
  • Ability to interpret performance data, identify trends, measure learning effectiveness, and connect training outcomes to business priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, programs, and deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Sound judgment, discretion, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position and operate a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in person and through virtual platforms.
  • Ability to move and transport training materials weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to travel by air and ground transportation and navigate clinical, office, conference, and training environments.

Employees in this role may be exposed to a variety of environmental, activity-related, and ergonomic hazards throughout the workday. Environmental risks include potential spills, weather-related conditions, inadequate ventilation, exposure to extreme heat or cold, poor housekeeping, chemical exposure, and slip, trip, and fall hazards. Activity-related hazards may involve working around burn or heat sources, compressed gases, electrical cords and tools, energized equipment, and possible exposure to contagious diseases or other unforeseen risks. Ergonomic hazards are also present, including lifting, awkward postures, repetitive motions, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Specific job tasks such as sitting at a workstation for extended periods can lead to back, shoulder, hand, arm injuries, and eye strain, while prolonged standing may result in strains, sprains, and leg or knee injuries. Walking throughout the building introduces the risk of slips, trips, falls, and strains, particularly if walkways are obstructed or wet. Additionally, cleaning up spills can pose hazards such as slips, trips, strains, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Overall, employees must remain aware of these hazards to reduce the risk of injury in the workplace.

This role is ideally based onsite at the Company's Mesa, Arizona headquarters. Hybrid or remote work arrangements may be available based on business needs, location, experience, and qualifications. Employees are expected to maintain a professional home office environment and may be required to travel to the Mesa office periodically for meetings, training programs, leadership gatherings, or other business-related activities.

Travel Requirements

Ability to travel up to 30-40% of the time to support field training, onboarding, meetings, conferences, and customer-facing activities. Travel may include overnight and air travel.
