Job summary

Buckeye Corrugated, Inc. is seeking a Sales Trainee to join its 12-18 month program designed to prepare for a career as an Account Executive, with training in the corrugated packaging industry, sales and customer service.

The role is a full-time office position requiring a bachelor's in sales/marketing and preferably two years outside selling; it emphasizes strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read reports and write correspondence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in sales/marketing.
• Two years outside selling or related experience - preferred, but not required.
• Experience in the corrugated box industry - preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow established safety rules, policies and procedures at all times.
• Participate in a 12-18 month sales training program to prepare for a long-term position with BCI as an Account Executive.
• Meet or exceed the operating standards in the areas of sales and customer service.
• Review of the training program goals with the Sales Manager weekly to ensure the Trainee is acquiring the skills.
• Full-time role in an office setting.
