Graybar in Thornton, CO is seeking a Sales Trainee to learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through formal training and hands-on learning.

You will rotate through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes, building product knowledge across electrical, communications, and security equipment, and developing skills to advise customers in enterprise networks, data centers, and security solutions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Make a difference.As a Sales Trainee, with our Comm Data sales team, you will learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through a mix of formal training sessions and hands-on learning. You will learn the communications and data infrastructure business. You will gain exposure to a wide range of technologies and solutions that support enterprise networks, broadband systems, security, wireless connectivity, and data center environments. Our Sales Trainees are exposed to all areas of our business and are given the opportunity to receive specialized training and are provided a great overview of our industry before transitioning into a sales role.In this role you will:Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution processDevelop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipmentRotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processesWhat you bring to the table:Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and within a teamHighly effective interpersonal and communication skills2 or 4-year degree or equivalent work experienceShift & Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.Compensation Details: This position has a starting pay of $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.The Value of Graybar:At Graybar, we are known for our comprehensive benefits and our employee stock ownership plan!
