The program exposes you to all areas of the business and includes rotations through sales, logistics, customer service, and project processes. Qualifications include a 2-4 year degree or equivalent experience, driving ability with a valid license, and strong communication skills.

Make a difference.As a Sales Trainee, you will learn the electrical distribution business and Graybar’s sales process through a mix of formal training sessions and hands-on learning. Our Sales Trainees are exposed to all areas of our business and are given the opportunity to receive specialized training and are provided a great overview of our industry before transitioning into a sales role.In this role you will:Learn Graybar’s sales and distribution processDevelop product knowledge of electrical, communications, and security equipmentRotate through different areas of the business including sales, logistics, customer service, transactional and project processesWhat you bring to the table:Ability to drive and operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's licenseAbility to work independently and within a teamHighly effective interpersonal and communication skills2 or 4-year degree or equivalent work experienceCompensation Details: The expected rate of pay for this position is $26.50 per hourShift Hours and Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:30am to 4:30pmRelocation Requirement: This opportunity is part of Graybar's career development program, designed to prepare you for long-term success and career advancement within the company. Upon successful completion of the initial training period (approximately 6 to 12 months), relocation to one of the following Graybar locations is required.
