Job Description

  • Work independently with initiative, entrepreneurship, and autonomy while achievingboth short- and long-term sales goals.
  • Adhere to all federal pharmaceutical detailing regulations and industry salesguidelines.
  • Quickly develop an understanding of behavioral health, psychiatric disease states,pharmaceutical products, market dynamics, and healthcare practice settings.
  • Learn and communicate product information, clinical studies, treatment protocols,and guidelines in a professional sales environment.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans while consistently achieving salesgrowth within assigned territories.
  • Promote pharmaceutical products ethically and in compliance with company salesprocesses and approved marketing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with physicians and key healthcareprofessionals across multiple practice settings.
  • Entry-level Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives should obtain industrycredentials and certifications.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Sales ability with previous sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific and technical medicalinformation effectively.
  • Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives should possess a PSC, CNPR, or CMRindustry sales certification.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Passion for excellence and a competitive mindset.
  • Entry-level Pharmaceutical Sales Representatives should obtain appropriateindustry certifications to align with PharmaGen selling guidelines.
  • Demonstrated success in persuasion, influence, and negotiation.
  • Documented leadership ability.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, including proficiency withMicrosoft Office.
