Palmetto Moon is seeking a Sales Team Lead in Columbia, SC to support the Store Sales Manager in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. You will provide leadership and on-the-floor guidance, coach teammates, and help execute store initiatives with a focus on selling and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to multi-task, and dependable accountability for team performance during MOD shifts and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail or sales environment.
• Shown leadership and delegation skills along with proven ability to hold team members accountable.
• Confident, proactive and willingness to take on workplace challenges.
• Ability to multi-task and change priorities as necessary.
• Strong verbal communication, and the ability to convey important information clearly and effectively.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities, specifically in terms of customer service.
• Willingness to read key reporting and learn company POS system.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Sales Manager in achieving sales goals and objectives.
• Perform Manager on Duty (MOD) shifts as scheduled to monitor and motivate team.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with every customer and resolving issues.
• Train and coach team to maintain expected service levels.
• Motivate and inspire the team to achieve targets and initiatives.
• Ensure merchandise is displayed according to visual merchandising standards.
