Job description

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced sales strategy consultant to help refine our sales tactics and improve our win rate. The consultant will collaborate closely with our Resilience Services (RS) team to evaluate existing sales processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement actionable strategies. This is a hands-on analytical role focused on driving measurable results. This is a remote, six-month contract position, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities:
  1. Evaluate current sales strategies, processes, and client engagement practices (internal and external).
  2. Identify strengths and areas for improvement.
  3. Develop and deliver a report on the current state of sales operations.
  4. Collaborate with the RS team to develop targeted sales strategies aimed at increasing win rates.
  5. Review and enhance sales pitches and presentation materials.
  6. Improve objection handling and define a structured follow-up process.
  7. Propose innovative approaches for lead generation and customer acquisition.
  8. Provide detailed recommendations for process and performance improvements.
  9. Define key performance indicators to assess the success of new strategies.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports on progress and recommendations for ongoing adjustments.
  11. Create comprehensive documentation of strategies implemented and lessons learned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years proven experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the professional services or consulting sectors.
  • Experience in the insurance or climate sectors (preferred).
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies and tactics, including lead generation, proposal development, and client engagement, with demonstrated ability to analyze and improve sales processes.

Pay Range:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $60-66 hourly. We understand that salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
