Qualifications

• Experience within commercial or industrial equipment rental, construction supply, or related industries preferred.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound business decisions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Experience utilizing CRM systems preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support branch sales representatives with quote preparation, proposal distribution, and customer follow-up.
• Source products and equipment for resale opportunities on behalf of the outside sales team.
• Assist with maintaining and strengthening customer relationships through proactive communication and support.
• Conduct outbound sales calls to identify new opportunities and develop qualified leads within target market segments.
• Maintain a high volume of prospecting and cold-calling activity.
• Prepare and maintain customer training presentations and product information materials.
• Develop and distribute monthly sales promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Identify, source, and evaluate additional safety-related products to support expansion of the company product offering.
• Perform site evaluations, rigging assistance, customer training, and project material takeoffs as required.
• Assist with collections activities and customer account resolution when discrepancies arise.
• Support management and administration of subcontractor agreements and contracts.
• Coordinate purchasing activities and vendor communications.
• Assist with maintaining inventory controls and establishing appropriate min/max inventory levels.
• Manage and maintain customer relationship management (CRM) databases and sales activity records.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
• Participate in branch initiatives that support sales growth and operational excellence.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
