SEA Wire and Cable, Inc. is seeking an entry-level sales support professional in Madison, AL. You will provide administrative support to the sales team, handle routine order processing, quotations, and documentation, and coordinate with shipping and procurement to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent.
• Multitasking abilities.
• Must be highly organized and able to work accurately and independently.
• Positive attitude towards self and others.
• Able to interact with personnel at all levels.
• Basic math skills; good written and verbal communication.
• Strong keyboard skills, familiarity with Excel/Word; ability to learn new systems.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, DFAR, Acquisition Management helpful.

Responsibilities

• Handle overflow customer calls and address needs.
• Assist in quotation generation and sourcing of products.
• Manage order processing, confirmations, filing, and follow-up.
• Support on-time shipment, resolve issues with orders and backorders.
• Process spot buys and enter purchase orders; review inventory levels.
• Issue quotations and source products for quotes.
