Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Sales Support Specialist to back daily customer and sales operations for the cardiac monitoring business. You will manage orders, maintain accounts, support lead activities, and coordinate with partners to resolve inquiries.

Success is measured by accuracy, responsiveness, customer satisfaction, and efficiency. You’ll join the Customer Operations and Sales Support team, collaborating with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Logistics to deliver exceptional customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service, sales support, or order management experience.
• Experience processing orders, maintaining customer accounts, or supporting operational workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Process, review, and track customer and sales orders per procedures and quality standards.
• Respond to customer, patient, and sales inquiries related to orders, inventory, shipment tracking, and accounts.
• Create and maintain customer accounts in NetSuite and Validic with accurate documentation and pricing.
• Document customer interactions and updates to ensure compliance and data integrity.
• Support lead processing and new account setup activities for growth.
• Coordinate with third-party warehouse to investigate delays or damage to shipments.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain exception logs; escalate issues as needed.
• Assist inventory activities including intake, tracking, and recycling of devices.

Your Role at Baxter

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will support daily customer and sales operations for Baxter's cardiac monitoring business. You will manage orders, maintain customer accounts, support lead management activities, coordinate with third-party partners, and help resolve customer inquiries. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, responsiveness, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Your Team

You will be part of the Customer Operations and Sales Support team, partnering closely with Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Logistics, and external vendors to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The team is focused on service excellence, continuous improvement, and supporting customers with the tools and solutions they need to improve patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process, review, and track customer and sales orders in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
• Respond to customer, patient, and sales inquiries related to orders, inventory requests, shipment tracking, and account support.
• Create and maintain customer accounts in NetSuite and Validic, ensuring accurate documentation, billing, and pricing information.
• Document customer interactions, transactions, and account updates within company systems to maintain compliance and data integrity.
• Support lead processing and new account setup activities that contribute to business growth.
• Partner with Baxter's third-party warehouse provider to investigate and resolve delayed, missing, or damaged shipments.
• Prepare operational reports, maintain exception logs, and elevate customer or patient concerns in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist with inventory activities, including intake, tracking, and recycling of cardiac monitoring devices, while contributing to team productivity and service goals.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of customer service, sales support, account support, order management, or related experience.
• Experience processing orders, maintaining customer accounts, or supporting operational workflows.
• Experience working with billing, pricing, account management, or customer records.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience working with CRM systems, NetSuite, Validic, or similar customer management platforms preferred.
• Experience in healthcare, medical device, patient support, or other regulated industries preferred.
• Experience supporting inventory management, logistics, shipment coordination, or warehouse-related processes preferred.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $40,000 to $55,000 plus a commission target. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
