Job summary

Medisca is a global company that supports healthcare professionals with pharmaceutical ingredients, services, and education. The Sales Support Representative will assist the sales team, handle calls and emails, and perform a range of administrative and data-entry tasks.

The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and up-to-date industry trends, with a 50/50 split between inbound sales and admin duties. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm MST.

Qualifications

• College/CEGEP degree with science background is an asset.
• 1+ year of call center or sales support experience, or 3–5 years in customer service.
• Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
• Ability to upsell products and services.
• Excellent communication, listening, and professional demeanor.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel).
• Experience with CRM (Creatio is a plus).
• Fluent in French and English (oral & written).
• Knowledge of working with suppliers/customers outside Quebec where English is business language.

Responsibilities

Sales Support Representative's prime focus is to provide support to the sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Working in a fast paced and unique industry the Sales Support Representative will respond to calls and emails from customers while completing a range of administrative tasks.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am to 6:00pm MST

Responsibilities

The opportunity:

• This role has a 50% inbound sales component / 50% admin and data entry component
• Provide support to customers regarding products, services and policies
• Assist customers utilizing the appropriate resources =
• Provide troubleshooting assistance for orders, account statuses, and other problems.
• Effectively communicate with internal and external customers
• Stay up-to-date with new products, features and industry trends
• Create and process orders in a timely manner
• Process customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
• Prioritize administrative responsibilities
• Suggest sales process enhancements
• Record and report adverse reactions received from healthcare professionals and patients as per company Pharmacovigilance procedures (Canadian Clients only).

Qualifications

• College/Cegep degree with science background is an asset
• One plus (1+) year of call center or sales support environment experience or
• Three (3) to five (5) years customer service experience
• Understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Ability to upsell products and services
• Strong listening skills, very customer focused and professional.
• Analytical, multitasking and time management skills
• Excellent team working, motivational and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates values and has the ability to make connections, build trust and be authentic
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams and Excel) required
• Experience working with a CRM (Creatio an asset)
• Excellent communication skills; Fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This position requires daily communication to collaborate and exchange with
• suppliers and customers located outside the province of Québec where English is the primary language of business.
