Job summary

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is a leading wine and spirits wholesaler with a family-oriented culture and a focus on service, accountability, honesty and professionalism. We seek a Sales Support Representative to assist the Sales Lead in delivering orders, merchandising, pricing, and customer service.

This role supports stores with stock, displays, pricing, and inventory replenishments. You will build strong relationships with account personnel, support nights/weekends as needed,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent schooling.
• Requires a valid state driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.
• Product knowledge applicable to wine and spirits industry.
• Experience stocking shelves and creating product displays.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with stocking shelves, resetting coolers, and creating displays for their purchased products.
• Solidify strong customer relationships.
• Work with customers to identify areas where support is needed and provide help (e.g. will calls, POS delivery).
• Place prices and descriptive signs on products.
• Check account on-hand inventory and submit replenishment orders to fill gaps.
• Prepare and maintain displays.
• Sort, label, and store goods.
• Survey accounts for merchandising opportunities and present promotional materials.
• Report competitive activity and pricing to supervisor.
• Cover open sales territory as needed due to absence or vacation.
• May require nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
