SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in using SolidWorks to create STEP files and 3D renderings for use on the Camfil Teamsite and in the Installation, Operation, and Maintenance manual (IOM). Assist in pricing strategies and ensure accurate information is available to the sales team, partners, and customers. Technical writing experience is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Teamsite:
  • Create STEP files using SolidWorks for new and existing products.
  • Create renderings using SolidWorks as needed to use on team site quotes.
• IOM: (Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual)
  • Create renderings using SolidWorks as needed to use in the IOM.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the IOM.
• Support:
  • Work with Sales, Sales Support Manager, Engineering, and Sr. Software Developer to maintain pricing and information on the team site.
  • Support sales drawing generation to meet Sales team and customer requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, including experience with renderings, STEP files, and 3D modeling.
  • Experience in Technical writing.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient with Microsoft products
  • Comfortable, friendly, and professional on the phone and in person
  • Team-oriented self-starter who works well in fast-paced environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to office, warehouse, and plant environments. The work environment will require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in certain areas. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
