You will manage customer orders, monitor inventory, forecast demand, and prepare sales materials. Strong communication, analytical skills, and knowledge of grocery supply chains are essential.

JOH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sales Support Analyst to join our Fresh Division. This full-time position supports a portfolio of perishable brands and serves as a key liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams. Responsibilities include managing customer orders, monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring product availability while minimizing waste and inventory risk.

In addition, this role provides sales support to the JOH Customer Management Team through new item setup, promotional entries, meeting preparation, sales bulletins, reporting, and other administrative and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Place customer purchase orders for JOH Vendors.
• Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and product performance to ensure adequate stock on hand.
• Develop inventory forecasts and replenishment recommendations based on historical sales data, seasonality, promotions, and supplier lead times.
• Track expiration dates, spoilage, shrinkage, and slow-moving products; and develop plans to move products out of warehouse.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve stock issues.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage data entry for new item Set-up and Trade Promotion Systems for JOH Vendors.
• Assist JOH Customer Managers in preparing for JOH Vendor/Customer Meetings.
• Draft new item bulletins/sales flyers and execute store distribution requests for JOH Vendors.

Requirements:

• Must live in proximity to JOH’s Cranford NJ Office.
• Bachelor’s degree or business/trade school degree in a business-related field.
• Ability to thrive and multi-task in a fast-paced team-oriented business environment.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• An understanding of grocery industry including supply chain dynamics and trade promotions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (xls, ppt, doc) and inventory management systems.
• Experience with perishable goods preferred.
