Job summary

Samyang America Inc. is seeking a Sales Strategy & Analyst Specialist in California to partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.

You will analyze sales trends, syndicated data, and competitive dynamics to build dashboards, reports, and KPIs that drive profitable growth. Reporting to the Sales Strategy Manager, you will support territory alignment, quota planning, pricing analysis, forecasting, and business reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, or analytics.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities and deliver actionable business insights.
• Manage and analyze syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen) to evaluate category performance, market share, competitive activity, and consumer trends.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs that provide visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and key business metrics.
• Support sales planning initiatives, including territory alignment, quota planning, pricing analysis, forecasting, and business reviews.
• Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to support strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
• Communicate regularly with headquarters on key initiatives, sharing business updates, performance results, and strategic priorities to ensure alignment across regions.
• Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities that support commercial growth
• Present insight and recommendations to business stakeholders, translating complex data into clear, actionable business strategies
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and executive-level reporting to support leadership decisions and strategic initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting process, data quality, and analytical tools to enhance operational efficiency
