This Position reports to:

Sales Manager, West Region

In this role, you will drive the Regional Instrumentation business by spreading the value message of ABB measurement and control with our End Users. Consult with the End User to define project goals, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Maintain high customer satisfaction and drive segment performance.

The work model for the role is: Remote (Must be in Pittsburgh or Allentown).

This role contributes to the Process Automation Measurement & Analytics division in the Northeast region.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Creating, planning, and implementing the sales mission, vision, and strategy for the Oil and Gas market in the Northeast.
  • Achieving order intake, margin, and related objectives for the instrumentation product portfolio in Oil and Gas.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders, planning and analyzing customer surveys to ensure high satisfaction.
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing sales processes, tools, and training programs.

Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in technology preferred, with 6 years of instrumentation sales experience.
  • Good time, activity, and priority management skills.
  • Leverage existing relationships in automation and measurement industry to bring new opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and implement structured sales strategies.
  • Strong competitor knowledge; passion for selling and winning.
  • Resilience to overcome rejection.
  • Focus on end users' needs, goals, and how they buy and maintain equipment.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels within ABB, partners, and end users.
  • Solid understanding of instrumentation, level technology, and markets.
