General Information:

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Sales Specialist / Application Engineer PQP for its Mount Pleasant, PA location.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Influence Technical Specifications of existing and new customers.
  2. Develop and grow the pipeline of the product line the Application Engineer serves.
  3. Acquire new customers by demonstrating high-quality and high-value products.
  4. Create technical documents such as White Papers, Technical Comparisons, and Technical Statements for the market.
  5. Enhance the technical capabilities of the Sales Team in the market.
  6. Support the definition and implementation of Go to Market Strategies as defined by the PMM.
  7. Contribute to the technical development of the Strategic Plan of the PMM.
  8. Ensure Market and Product Fit for new developments.
  9. Develop technical content for marketing materials.
  10. Follow up on opportunities and customers to secure successful orders.
  11. Participate in IEEE committees related to the product line.
  12. Deepen product and market knowledge to meet challenges.
  13. Balance engineering and marketing needs to develop complex solutions efficiently.
  14. Communicate effectively and train the sales force, simplifying complex technical concepts.
  15. Document technical solutions and processes accurately.
  16. Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, taking responsibility and caring for colleagues and the business.

Your Background:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field; Master's or PhD preferred.
  2. Must have work authorization to work in the United States for Hitachi Energy.
  3. 10-15 years of experience in technical and marketing roles related to the products.
  4. Experience in Product Marketing and Sales is desirable.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and focus on customer satisfaction.
  6. Structured approach to engineering solutions.
  7. Intercultural sensitivity.
  8. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills and diplomatic approach.
  9. Structured and analytical mindset.
