Job summary

Baxter Healthcare in Guaynabo, PR seeks a Sales/Clinical Specialist to drive product strategy, provide clinical support in operating rooms, and train medical staff across clinics and hospitals. You will develop territory plans, collaborate with Marketing, and lead clinical evaluations to optimize portfolio adoption.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in clinical or technical health roles, a health-related bachelor’s, and preferably a master’s in surgical/biomedical fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related fields.
• Master’s or specialty in surgical/biomedical areas preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in clinical or technical health-sector roles, ideally medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement product plans aligned with business strategy.
• Provide technical and clinical support to customers and sales force in the operating room.
• Attend the operating room to ensure proper preparation and use of the portfolio.
• Analyze procedures, shifts and specialties to target.
• Make medical visits to clinics or offices.
• Visit private and government hospitals.
• Plan territory events with KOLs, nurses and residents.
• Collaborate with Marketing on strategy execution and events in the country.
• Design and deliver clinical and product trainings for internal and external clients.
• Lead clinical evaluations and pilot product trials.
• Collect market feedback to improve value proposition.
• Monitor trends, competition and opportunities for the portfolio.
• Support compliance, regulatory and new product introductions.
• Promote a culture of ethics and business conduct.
• Drive ethics and compliance program implementation and address violations.
• Implement Baxter code of conduct and policies including third-party interactions.
• Identify compliance and legal risks in country/cluster.

El especialista de ventas define e implementa estrategias de posicionamiento, educación y soporte técnico del portafolio de productos de Advanced Surgery, asegurando su adopción clínica, la diferenciación frente a la competencia y la alineación con los objetivos comerciales y regulatorios de la compañía.

Lo que harás

• Desarrollar e implementar planes de producto alineados con la estrategia de negocio.
• Brindar soporte técnico y clínico a clientes y fuerza de ventas en el quirófano.
• Ingresar a Quirófano para garantizar preparación y correcto uso del portafolio
• Análisis de desplazamientos, procedimientos y especialidades a trabajar
• Visita medica en consultorio u oficina
• Visita a Hospitales del sector privado y de gobierno
• Planeación de eventos en su territorio con KOL´S, Enfermeras y Residentes
• Colaborar con Marketing en la ejecución de la estrategia y la organización de eventos en el país
• Diseñar e impartir entrenamientos clínicos y de producto para clientes internos y externos.
• Liderar evaluaciones clínicas y pruebas piloto de producto.
• Recopilar feedback del mercado para mejorar la propuesta de valor de los productos.
• Monitorear tendencias, competencia y oportunidades del portafolio.
• Apoyar procesos de cumplimiento, regulatorios y de introducción de nuevos productos.
• Fomentar una cultura de cumplimiento de normas y prácticas de negocio éticas en la organización.
• Impulsar la implementación del programa de ética y cumplimiento y prevenir, detectar y corregir las violaciones de la ley, las políticas de Baxter y código de conducta.
• Implementar el código de conducta de Baxter, políticas y procedimientos, incluyendo, pero no limitado a la política Global de interacciones y política de terceros y apoyar a los procesos.
• Identificar riesgos de cumplimiento y legales de Baxter en el país/cluster.

Lo que aportarás

• Licenciatura en áreas de la salud (Enfermería, Medicina, Biotecnología, Química, o afín).
• Deseable maestría o especialidad en áreas quirúrgicas o biomédicas.
• Mínimo 3 años en posiciones clínicas o técnicas dentro del sector salud, idealmente en dispositivos médicos.
• Experiencia en acompañamiento quirúrgico y capacitación médica.
• Conocimiento de anatomía y procedimientos quirúrgicos relacionados con el portafolio.
• Conocimiento del mercado de dispositivos médicos y dinámica hospitalaria, así como de las Regulaciones sanitarias y de cumplimiento para interacciones clínicas.
• Experiencia con técnicas de enseñanza para adultos y herramientas de formación técnica.
