Job summary

Northern Bank is seeking a Sales & Service Associate - Float to be the face of our branches here in Woburn, MA. The role requires owning the client relationship from start to finish and traveling to multiple branches as needed.

You will handle in-person, phone, and written client interactions, building lasting relationships through white-glove service while supporting branch leadership with daily tasks and ensuring guidelines are followed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:

The Sales & Service Associate - Float is the face of the branches — the one person a client can count on from start to finish. This role is built for someone who takes full ownership of the client relationship, exercises sound judgment in the moment, and knows how to get things done even when the path isn't perfectly defined. We're looking for a self-starter who is as comfortable identifying a sales opportunity as they are resolving a service issue, and who genuinely thrives on being the person clients call by name. Availability of traveling to all Branches is required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Serve as the primary, go-to point of contact for clients — handling needs from the first hello to full resolution
• Build trusted, long-term relationships through consistent follow-through, genuine care, and white-glove service
• Manage client interactions across all channels: in-person, phone, and written communication
• Actively listen for and recognize sales opportunities during every client interaction, whether inbound or outbound
• Conduct outbound calls to existing and prospective clients to build relationships and uncover unmet needs
• Present solutions with confidence and follow through to close — no handoffs, no dropped ball
• Support branch leadership with daily operational tasks as needed.
• Navigate ambiguous situations with good judgment, balancing client needs with company guidelines

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School diploma; Associates degree preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in a client-facing sales or service role
• Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills; able to juggle multiple client needs without losing accuracy

The hourly rate range for this position is $25-33 per hour.
