Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) is seeking a Summer 2027 Sales Revenue Operations Intern located at our Columbus, OH headquarters to gain hands-on experience with sales analytics and business processes.

You will design dashboards with Tableau, SQL and Excel, analyze data trends, document processes, and recommend improvements while collaborating with colleagues and leveraging AI to streamline workflows. May 17–Aug 6, 2027, internship program.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Some experience with Tableau, SQL, Python / R, Alteryx, Power BI, Excel, or database principles.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an open, evolving environment as well as independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Analytical mindset and willingness to learn from data.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop sales performance dashboards and reports using Tableau, Salesforce, Snowflake and Excel.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to document processes and make recommendations to create efficiencies or opportunities for improvement.
• Leverage AI to reduce cycle times and reduce complexity.
• Connect across the organization through the Summer Intern Program to build influential working relationships for your career.
• Other duties as assigned.
