Job summary

Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), the science solutions arm of the American Chemical Society, offers a Summer 2027 Business Technology Intern in Columbus, Ohio. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, explore modern software tools, gain exposure to core CAS activities spanning Marketing, Sales, and Customer Experience, and build professional connections with CAS staff.

The internship runs May 17 to August 6, with hands-on projects across Salesforce and SAP ECC, and training

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Some experience with CRM platforms, Salesforce or SAP ECC, and data or programming concepts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to work in agile environments.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Engage in prioritized solution investigations and business data initiatives across Salesforce and SAP ECC.
• Create and enhance software solutions for Marketing, Sales, Customer Account Management, and Financial Processing.
• Build cross-functional relationships through the Summer Intern Program.
• Stay current with technology trends via training opportunities.
