Project Sales Consultants are part of the In-Home Outside Sales Team. This full-time role offers 100% commission-based compensation with W-2 benefits, where representatives typically earn between $45K and $80K, with top performers earning over $90K annually. Sales reps usually visit the local sales office once a week; on other days, they receive scheduled appointments via email and visit customers from their home. Territories cover areas within approximately 2 hours of the home zip code. This position provides pre-confirmed, pre-set appointments, and is not door-to-door sales—customers contact Sears requesting estimates on our Home Improvement Products.

This position offers excellent compensation, with pre-qualified appointments from our National Sales Center. We provide all necessary tools, including paid training, a laptop with design software, and fuel reimbursement. No experience? No problem—Sears will train passionate individuals. There is no cap on commissions, so earnings potential is unlimited.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Travel extensively within the local market area using a personal vehicle to appointments.
2. Valid driver’s license and appropriate automobile insurance required.
3. Ability to lift sample cases of home improvement products (5-40 lbs).
4. Proficient in computer skills.
5. Ability to work five days a week, including Saturdays; flexibility for additional days and hours.
6. Effective communication and negotiation skills.
7. Excellent customer service, listening, and influencing skills.
8. High School Diploma or equivalent required.
