Job summary

Cascade Tropicals is seeking a Tropical Plants Sales Representative to cover Seattle/Tacoma & Peninsula, spending most of your week meeting garden centers, retailers, and wholesale partners to grow partnerships and drive sales. You will work closely with production and buying teams to ensure timely plant availability and quality in every interaction.

Ideal candidates bring a proven retail or wholesale sales background, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a local territory

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or wholesale sales.
• Knowledge of the houseplant or horticultural industry a plus.
• Established customer relationships within the territory a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable with regular local travel; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Spend 4 days a week in the field, visiting garden centers, retailers, and wholesale customers throughout the Washington territory.
• Build and grow relationships with existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
• Represent Cascade Tropicals' plant quality and value in every customer interaction.
• Work out of the Snohomish greenhouse once a week to stay connected with the product and production team.
• Partner with our buying and production teams to keep customers stocked with the right plants at the right time.
