Job summary

Road to Responsibility is hiring in Taunton, MA to support individuals with disabilities in community employment settings. You will provide on-the-job coaching, help build job readiness, and work with a collaborative team to prepare participants for long-term independence.

The role requires a High School Diploma, valid driver’s license, and ability to travel to sites. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered for full-time hires and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Responsibilities

$2,500 Sign-On Bonus – Help People Succeed at Work

Join RTR and play a hands-on role in helping individuals with disabilities build skills, gain confidence, and succeed in real-world jobs. You’ll support participants across community-based employment settings, including job sites and training centers, working closely with a collaborative team to prepare individuals for long-term independence.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide on-the-job coaching and support in 1:1 and group settings at community businesses and program sites
  • Help individuals develop job readiness, workplace behavior, and functional skills
  • Partner with Case Managers and staff to implement employment and behavioral goals
  • Track progress and complete clear, accurate documentation and reports
  • Act as a liaison between RTR, families, and employer partners
  • Support transportation to and from job sites as needed
  • Assist with hands‑on care and behavioral support, including implementing safety interventions when required
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training activities
  • Model professionalism and help individuals adapt to real workplace environments

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and the internet.
  • Successful completion of all state and agency mandated trainings.
  • Must be willing to authorize a Criminal History Background Check (CORI) and release of information concerning allegations from the Disabled Persons Protection Commission (DPPC), Department of Developmental Services (DDS), and other agencies.

Language Skills

Must be fluent in English and have the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
