POSITION SUMMARY:

Sales Representative supports sales in assigned area. The primary role is to manage relationships, generate interest, and develop new prospects while maintaining existing prospects to retain them as customers.

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  1. Customer service/retention through contact and interaction.
  2. Research accounts, identify key players, and generate interest.
  3. Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers primarily by phone to increase sales.
  4. Attend regional industry shows and participate in customer events to maintain visibility.
  5. Sale of new build, stock, and demo vehicles.
  6. Provide representation during customer inspections and plant tours.
  7. Understand customer needs and requirements.
  8. Maintain and expand your database of prospects.
  9. Team with partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  10. Perform a variety of other tasks as needed.
  11. There may be up to 50% travel.

POSITION EXPECTATIONS:

  1. Must have excellent presentation skills and knowledge of the RV market.
  2. Knowledge of competitors and RV products.
  3. Ability to work independently in the absence of supervision.
  4. Travel 35-40% of the time.
  5. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
  6. Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office.
  7. Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  8. Candidate must possess excellent organizational and management skills.
  9. Meet the goals and objectives of the sales department as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  1. B.S in Business Administration, Management, or Finance.
  2. 1-4 years of successful sales experience in the RV or Truck Trailer Industry.
