Job summary

Amneal Pharmaceuticals seeks a Sales Representative to promote products within a defined territory and deliver informative sales presentations to healthcare practitioners, hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and other accounts. You will coordinate with the ENDO Sales Team to execute marketing and sales strategies and ensure regular territory coverage.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed all product sales goals within the territory through strategic planning.
  • Manage samples distribution and record sample transactions per PDMA guidelines.
  • Craft and deliver comprehensive sales presentations using approved materials.
  • Develop a daily call schedule to ensure territory coverage.
  • Maintain accurate territory information.
  • Demonstrate disease state expertise related to promoted products.
  • Implement the Amneal selling model and process principles.
  • Perform pre- and post-call analysis to optimize engagement.
  • Review sales data and manage budget funds to maximize impact.
  • Complete administrative reports promptly and meet deadlines.
  • Safeguard company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle).
  • Enter calls into Veeva System via iPad and respond to email daily.

Increased product sales will result from effective efforts. Administration of territory information and compliance to reporting and regulatory requirements is imperative. Essential Functions


  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding all product sales performance goals within the assigned geographical assignment (territory) through strategic and effective business planning.

  • Manage the distribution of samples and record sample transactions in accordance with Company Policy and the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA) guidelines maintaining accurate records of all transactions.

  • Craft and develop comprehensive and accurate sales presentations using all approved marketing and selling materials to effectively communicate product value propositions to current and potential customers with a frequency based on assigned call goals with healthcare providers, focusing on top target customers.

  • Develop a daily call schedule to ensure efficient and comprehensive coverage of territory and adhere to a certain number of calls per day if applicable.

  • Maintain accurate territory information.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive expertise in disease states and indications relevant to all promoted products.

  • Implement the Amneal selling model and process principles, including the DiSC personality profile when engaging with customers to enhance interactions.

  • Perform pre and post call analysis to optimize customer engagement outcomes.

  • Regularly review and analyze all available sales data and utilize developmental budget funds to maximize impact and drive results

  • Complete administrative reports timely and meet related deadlines.

  • Ensure proper safeguarding and care for company assets (laptop, iPad, fleet vehicle. etc.).

  • Enter calls promptly into Veeva System via iPad and check/respond to email daily.

Education


  • Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) Business, Life Sciences, Marketing or relevant field - Required



Experience


  • Minimum 1 year of successful outside sales experience (life sciences experience preferred).

  • Proven track record of success preferably in pharmaceutical or medical device sales - Advanced

The base salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 per year. In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award, with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company’s good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
