Job Title: Sales Representative - Payments

Description

At Heartland, we're building a payments platform that enables business owners to take control and focus on what they love. As a Relationship Manager, you'll be part of a sales team revolutionizing business operations. Using a consultative approach, you'll identify, build relationships, and sign up new businesses locally. Understanding their needs, you'll develop customized solutions to help their business thrive.

Compensation is performance-based, offering aggressive commissions, residuals, and portfolio ownership as you meet and exceed targets. We also provide peer and company recognition programs, 401(k) matching, medical, dental, vision coverage, and mental health benefits.

Responsibilities:

  1. Create a list of potential clients and manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing.
  2. Perform compelling demos that impress prospects.
  3. This is a work-from-home, local field sales role; reside nearby.
  4. Collaborate across teams to turn sales promises into realities.
  5. Use Atlas, our sales tool, effectively to manage activities.
  6. Understand competitors thoroughly and position Heartland favorably.

Requirements:

  • High school Diploma/GED
  • Must be 18+ years old
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Mandatory drug screening around the 60th day of employment

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills; ability to sell and negotiate at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
  • Self-starter with creativity and flexibility.
  • Experience in cold-calling and canvassing local businesses.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations is a plus.
  • Sales experience preferred, especially in hunting for new business.
  • Reside in the local area to qualify for this remote field role.
