How can you make an impact?

As a Nevada Sales Representative, you’ll focus on selling Core solutions to our Grades K-12 customer base, focusing on new, expansion, and residual business. This individual will create and execute strategic business territory plans that will increase sales according to the company growth expectations. This is a remote position open to applicants local to Nevada and are authorized to work for any employer within the United States. It requires up to 70% travel locally, so priority will be given to applicants who reside within 1 hour of Las Vegas or Reno.

What you will be doing:

  1. Attaining and surpassing sales goals, with the proven ability to develop and build customer relationships to maintain and expand market penetration.
  2. Creating and executing marketing and strategic territory plans, with excellent organization and follow-through.
  3. Uncovering new business opportunities within the account base by developing & helping to maintain business relationships through regular proactive contact.
  4. Understanding how the business makes money and demonstrating an ability to negotiate and manage resources based on corporate policy and profitability.
  5. Using appropriate written and verbal communication skills internally and externally to facilitate a desired outcome.
  6. Managing company resources, including the company-provided vehicle, company credit card, home office, and computer equipment.
  7. Lifting and moving boxes that could weigh up to 50 lbs.

We’re looking for someone with:

  1. Bachelor's degree (required).
  2. 2+ years sales experience in K-12 educational publishing or EdTech services preferred but not required.
  3. Evidence of being organized, territory management capabilities, and resolving issues and problems in a fast-paced environment.
  4. A deep understanding of the use of technology in an educational instructional environment as it relates to educational infrastructures, such as platforms and curricula.
  5. Microsoft software skills: Outlook and PowerPoint (basic), Word and Excel (intermediate).
  6. Experience with a CRM database (we use Salesforce) strongly preferred.

As this position requires traveling by car, we require candidates to have a valid driver’s license with the ability to drive a car in the designated territory. The pay range for this position is between $62,000 - $94,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan is provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
