Jaguar Land Rover of Buffalo in Amherst, NY is seeking an experienced Luxury Sales Associate to join our team. You will sell and deliver vehicles, handle paperwork, and maintain customer follow-up to build loyalty and referrals.

The role requires luxury sales experience, strong communication skills, and a professional appearance in a full-time, five-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Luxury sales experience required, automotive preferred.
• Successful Sales / Customer Service experience.
• Exceptionally strong communication skils.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a professional personal appearance.
• Sell and deliver a minimum amount of vehicles each month.
• Write a complete sales order and process paperwork per dealership policies.
• Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems.
• Attend all product, sales, and employment trainings as instructed by management.
• Stay up-to-date on new products and services within the industry.
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a prospect development system.
• Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Know and understand laws that govern retail auto sales.
• Approach, greet, and assist customers who enter the showroom or lot.
• Help customers select a vehicle by asking questions and listening to responses.
• Explain product performance and benefits to prospects.
• Establish income goals consistent with dealership standards and devise a plan to meet them.

Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain a professional personal appearance
• Sell and deliver a minimum amount of vehicles each month
• Write a complete sales order and process paperwork in accordance with dealership policies
• Utilize dealership sales control and follow-up systems
• Attend all product, sales, and employment related trainings as instructed by management
• Stay up-to-date on new products and services within the industry
• Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a prospect development system.
• Conduct business in an ethical and professional manner.
• Know and understand the federal, state and local laws that govern retail auto sales.
• Approach, greet, and offer assistance or direction to any customer who enters the dealership showroom or sales lot.
• Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
• Fully explain the product performance, application, and benefits to prospects.
• Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity, and devises a strategy to meet those goals.
• Follow up on all post-delivery items, tag/title work, “we-owes” and special requests to be sure that all customer expectations are met.

Schedule:

• 5 day work week, Sundays off and one weekday.
• Availability Monday - Friday 9am - 7pm and every Saturday 9am - 5pm required.

Qualifications:

• Luxury sales experience required, automotive preferred
• Successful Sales / Customer Service experience
• Exceptionally strong communication skils
• Valid Driver's License
