Job description

Plum Group Foods is growing, and we are looking to expand our sales team! Our main product lines include IQF fruits and vegetables, frozen fruit and vegetable purees, and aseptic food ingredients. If you have experience selling these products, we want to hear from you! The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the industrial segment of the food industry and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and responsiveness are essential to our growth and success.

Founded in 1990, Plum Group Foods is a nationwide distributor and broker of high-quality food ingredients to industrial manufacturers. As a family-owned and operated business, we are recognized for our high standards and excellence in the food industry. Experience in the industrial food segment is preferred.

This position can be remote or based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain relationships with current customers, as well as build new relationships within the industrial food segment.
  • Achieve sales objectives by providing superior service and product knowledge, growing existing accounts, and developing new customers.
  • Offer outstanding service to both customers and suppliers.
  • Maintain positive interactions and clear communication with internal support staff and clients.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of successful outside sales experience.
  • Proven ability to build business relationships within the food industry.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage customer needs efficiently.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed goals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
