Job summary

West Shore Home is seeking an In-Home Sales Representative in Boston, MA to deliver our sales method and secure customer agreements. You will meet customers at their homes, present options, and manage the full sales cycle with a rotating Monday-Friday and Tuesday-Saturday schedule.

The role offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions and annual bonus, with potential for first-year earnings well over $200K. Benefits include health, 401(k) matching, HSA, PTO, and training.

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience preferred; welcoming recent grads and those from retail or hospitality.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Smartphone or device to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication.
• Must be able to work a rotating schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Sell products during home visits and provide in-depth product consultations.
• Communicate the value of West Shore Home products and installation quality.
• Help customers find options that fit their budget.
• Close sales and complete required post-sale activities.
• Sales appointments run for approximately 2 hours.

Purpose of Position:

An In-Home Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for all customers by delivering the West Shore Home sales method to secure customer agreements to purchase our products and services.

Key Role Accountabilities:

• Follow a monthly rotating schedule:
  • Weeks 1–2:Mon–Fri, available 9:00 AM–7:00 PM
  • Weeks 3–4:Tues–Fri (9:00 AM–7:00 PM) & Sat (9:00 AM–2:00 PM)
• No cold-calling or lead generation- all leads are warm and pre-set. We want you to do what you do best- selling!
• Sit down with potential customers at their homes to provide an in-depth consultant on our products.
• Communicate the value of our products and of our installation quality.
• Work with the customer to find options that work inside their budget.
• Close sales with customers and provide required post sale activity.
• Sales appointments run for approximately 2 hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to quickly connect with anyone in an environment
• A competitive nature with a drive to succeed
• Valid Driver’s Licensewith a clean driving record
• Previous sales experience but we’ve also seen great success with recent grads and those from retail, hospitality, or customer-facing roles
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log into Company required systems using two-factor authentication
