Job summary

AAF International is seeking an entry-level Industrial Sales professional in Louisville, KY. This role focuses on building quotations for inbound inquiries from existing customers and growing the assigned territory.

You will develop rapport with customers to identify additional needs and contribute to regional sales growth while collaborating with engineering, sourcing, and customer service teams.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Experience with MS Office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
• B2B sales experience and willingness to travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as regional contact for EP aftermarket inquiries and provides quotations.
• Execute annual goals and objectives of the Sales & Marketing plan for EP business unit, within assigned region.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers through telephone, email, and video conferencing.
• Maintain strong, accurate and current aftermarket sales pipeline for the region, within Salesforce.
• Works closely with customer service and other key departments to develop quotations.
• Responsible for quality of purchase order documents and information required for order-entry.
• Actively negotiate sales price of product to win the sale.

Position Objective

This introductory role is a foundation for a career in industrial sales. In this position you will primarily build and communicate quotations for inbound inquiries to existing customers. A highly successful individual in this role will be able to build a rapport with the customer to assess additional needs we can fulfill and grow your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Serves as regional contact for EP aftermarket inquiries from existing or potential customers and provides quotations and sales support as necessary.
• Execute annual goals and objectives of the Sales & Marketing plan for EP business unit, within assigned region.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers through telephone, email, and video conferencing.
• Maintain strong, accurate and current aftermarket sales pipeline for the region, within SalesForce.
• Works closely with customer service and other key departments i.e. engineering and sourcing, to develop quotations.
• Responsible for quality of purchase order documents and associated information required for the order-entry process.
• Actively negotiate sales price of product to win the sale.

Product Parts Research

• Ability to research product drawings and other computer records to obtain correct part identification, to meet customer needs.
• Works closely with other departments to develop sourcing, pricing and technical data needed for final quotation.

Sales Rep Interaction

• Communicates regularly with the external regional sales managers, to ensure team success.
• Provide management with regional market intelligence.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Interest in mechanical equipment
• Excitement to learn

Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent computer skills (especially in MS Office).
• Experience with CRM systems, preferably SalesForce.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Travel may be required (estimated <5%)

Desired

• B2B sales experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings

Education Requirement:

• Bachelors Degree with out experience.
• Associates Degree with two years of business to business sales experience.
• No Degree needed with four years of business to business sales experience.
