Job summary

Palm Beach Tan is seeking a Sales Associate to join our Wichita team. You will greet customers, explain tanning options, and drive sales in a fast-paced environment. This role emphasizes delivering excellent customer experiences and meeting revenue goals through effective service and upselling.

Applicants should be 18+, with reliable transportation and prior retail or customer service experience preferred. A flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, is necessary to succeed.

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Positive, energetic attitude with a passion for delivering excellent customer experiences.
• Must be 18 years of age or older with reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet, assist, and build lasting customer relationships to encourage membership retention and repeat visits.
• Educate customers on tanning services, UV and sunless options, and proper skin care.
• Drive sales by meeting and exceeding individual and store revenue goals.
• Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment.
• Complete daily business tasks and operational responsibilities.
