Established in 1987, Stickel Packaging Supply is a family-run operation working out of a 50,000 square foot warehouse in Lakewood, New Jersey. We are one of the top players in the packaging distribution industry. Our mission is to provide competitive pricing on quality packaging supplies and equipment, janitorial and material handling products. Territories include Southwest Jersey, Central & Northern Jersey & Pennsylvania.

Summary / Responsibilities:

The Sales Representative will be expected to take an entrepreneurial approach to develop new business based on their own long-term strategic relationships to grow revenue and profitability. Responsibilities will be to uncover sales opportunities, develop new business, increase sales penetration and profits within the accounts that you service, develop knowledge of the products and services we offer and provide information to build strong collaborative relationships.

· Sell our product lines and equipment by calling on and growing business with existing accounts.

· Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

· Manage all aspects of the selling process including vendor relations, administrative follow-up and consultive sales solutions.

· Developing and presenting proposals

· Interacting with the customer service team for research, vendor relations and other administrative needs

· Assessing productivity needs with accounts and proposing ways to increase efficiency.

Qualifications / Skills:

· 3+ years of outside sales experience

· Proven ability to develop & execute a sales plan to meet customer demands.

· Packaging supplies/janitorial/safety product knowledge a major plus

· Consistent track record of growing a territory and its sales.

· Experience providing customized products and consultative sales solutions based on providing value, not just price.

· An ability to multi-task, manage accounts, projects, vendors and work closely with the inside sales team.
