Job summary

Penske is seeking a motivated sales-oriented professional in Reading, PA to make outbound calls to interested buyers and cold-call prospective customers, generating qualified leads for the sales team. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred concentration in Business or Marketing
• Some sales or customer service experience required
• Excellent customer service skills
• Written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential
• Willingness to travel and pass background check and drug screening are required

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to retail and wholesale leads to generate new sales
• Effectively manage time to contact as many customers as possible
• Find additional customers beyond those expressing interest
• Follow-up calls and setting appointments
• Take inbound calls as needed for call volume and training
• Assist with managing inventory on auction websites
• Other projects as assigned by the supervisor
