Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a student-focused role to support ready-mix concrete sales, dispatch, and customer service activities, while learning and applying technical concepts in a fast-paced environment.

You will gain hands-on experience in quality control testing, troubleshooting product quality concerns, and building relationships with customers and operations teams, contributing to safety and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in chemical engineering, sales, marketing, quality control, business, or has an interest in these areas of study or business
• Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts and apply them in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to analyze information, solve problems, and make sound recommendations
• Effective organizational skills with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the capability to learn industry-specific systems and processes

Responsibilities

• Learn and support ready-mix concrete sales, dispatch, and customer service activities
• Perform quality control testing and inspections to help ensure product compliance and performance standards
• Assist with troubleshooting product quality concerns and identifying process improvement opportunities
• Build relationships with customers, operations teams, and production personnel to support business objectives
• Analyze sales and quality data, prepare reports, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
